Zouk & Surf Retreats
15 - 22 October 2026. A week between learning Lambada, surfing, yoga and evening of social dancing to Lambada. Beginner surf welcome.
TBC - Dates will be in second week of April 2027. A week of dancing Zouk and learning kitesurfing in the best kite surf spot in Spain

Total Beginner - First time surfing or only tried surfing a long time ago, someone who surfs less than 1 week per year

What is the next thing to do and learn
Beginner with Experience - Knows safety rules, surfboard basic skills like handling and control when entering the water, understand take off
New Intermediate - Can paddle out, drop into waves. Can catch and ride the greens waves.
Intermediate - Understanding of waves direction and energy. Can paddle out, drop into waves, can do bottom turn
New Advanced - Can keep up with the wave. Knows how to do the top and bottom turn on the wall of the wave
Advanced - All of the above
Learn safety rules, board basics and take off technique
Improve take off in white water and start learning how to turn
Learn positioning, behaviour in the water and bottom turn
Learn positioning, speed, control and cutback
Generate speed, improve cutbacks and basic manoeuvres
